Instructions
Write a 700-1500-word paper which reflects on your personal simulation journey.
Identify and describe personal examples to explain and describe your feelings, philosophy and experiences regarding simulation.
Although writing a reflective paper is less formal than a research essay, there must be structure to your paper. Include an introduction, body and conclusion and use APA formatting.
To assist, you may answer the following questions in your paper:
Did you have an ‘a-ha!’ moment during the course? If so, please expand.
What content in the course will you use to change your current practice? and how?
What content will inform or influence your planning of a future simulation-based experience? and how?
How might the content have helped you navigate a previous challenge?
Reflect on how you might implement one of the educational theories or concepts into your practice and discuss.
What do you need to implement a “change,” initiative or an innovation?
How have you used simulation?
What innovative ways can you use simulation?
What does the future of simulation look like at your institution?

You must complete (pass) all 5 module quizzes as the pre-requisite in order to submit your paper. Please allow up to a week for short/long answer questions to be marked by our Education Director. You may then click on the “Reflection” item below to submit.
Following the upload, green text “Essay upload success” will be visible underneath the upload block. You should also receive a confirmation of submission via email (please check your spam box for this if you do not receive it). Click on the “Finish Quiz” button to finalize.
If you are unable to submit, check your completion status for all sections (“mark as complete”) and that all quizzes have been passed (you may retake the quiz if necessary). Please contact education@simulationcanada.ca if you continue to have technical issues with submitting your paper.
