Module 4 and Final Project: Examining Current Issues, Innovations, and Opportunities in Simulation

Description

Welcome to the final module of the Advanced Keystones Program! This module will provide the learner the opportunity to explore what fidelity really means and how to raise the fidelity without breaking the bank. We then move into a review of what escape rooms are, the benefits, and ways to incorporate them into your simulation program. Lastly, we wrap up with how to build your simulation strategy, how to conduct a baseline assessment, and then an overview of some important considerations. During the live session, we will discuss the final project topics and create a plan for coaches to meet with learners to support project timelines.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this module the learner will be able to:

  1. Learners will formulate a plan to incorporate a new teaching strategy or modality into their simulation program.
  2. Learners will explore best practices for creating an escape room.
  3. Learners will begin to develop a simulation strategy and action plan for their home institution.
