    Hi Lynn:

By my calculations, we are in about the same age group. Oh boy, how I remember just “learning on patients as I went along….” Yikes! Perhaps I’ll recount the story of the first time I ever scrubbed for a ruptured aortic aneurysm repair…and had never, ever loaded that type of suture. If nothing else, that is why I do what I do today!

By all means Lynn, don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions as you move along with your simulation program. As I said to Val, I truly get great joy out of helping others on their simulation journeys.

Looking forward to meeting and sharing!

    Hi Val:

Great to meet you! Looks like we have traveled some of the same roads – Queen’s and McMaster!

That’s great that you have experience in the clinical setting and the academic setting. There are definitely similarities in terms of best practices, but there are also some differences.

Feel free to reach out to me Val for any information on implementing simulation. That is my specialty area and I get great, great joy out of helping others on their simulation journeys.

    Enjoy the learning!

    E.
